An open-air concert under the South African sun
Opera classics: On May 22, 2016, the GRP played an open-air concert in the Botanial Garden Walter Sisulu in Johannesburg, South Africa. An audience of about 600 people sat down on the lawn in the park in front of the orchestra pavillion, enjoying the warm evening sun and listening to famous aria from opera and light opera from Mozart to Léhar, as well as to traditional African Songs, European and South American stage evergreens. South Afrian and European vocal soloists appeared together on stage and filled, togehter with the GRP, the audience with enthusiasm.
